so much is happening!

okkk guys listen up! i missed last weeks class i woke up feeling pretty sick so if anyone can fill me in on what we did or talked about i would appreciate it!!
also is anyone else on the same boat as me when it comes to not having turned in your experimental activities?! i did get 2 in but did not manage to complete the rest.. just throwing that out there to see if im the only failure in this class lol kidding.

so wow election eh!? big thing this week!! and obama won!! i honestly thought he was the underdog in this election although i like the guy and think he has a very postive image for this country i felt as if america would not look past the race issues of lack of experience but im glad they did and he won! i hope he sticks to his word about change i feel like hes very ambitious about changing things around in this country but ambitions just like hopes can be shattered!! it just upsets me how negative some people around campus, myspace, facebook are being about the outcome. grow up people the votes have been counted and the more popular vote has spoken! theres nothing anyone can do about it now! so might as well get use to it!! there has been democratic presidents in the white house before so whats the big deal this time around!?
another thing that truly upsets me is how ignorant people are going about talking about him getting assasinated if something like that was to happen that would just show america how little this nation has wandered from the racist days mlk suffered with. its ridiculous to me for people think that simply because of the color of his skin he is in threat of being assasinated it really sends a bad message about this country. i hope he does end up proving all the people that are against him wrong and makes great things happen for this country!!

now that im done with that! i was thinking it would be cool if ms stone and the whole class we all got together on a t-shirt idea for our us seminar class! i have really enjoyed our class and would like to walk away from it at the end of the semester with a little memorabilia haha i was thinking we should all come up with a shirt design and color and have one for our class we each put in about 10 bucks and have ms stone get her people to make one for us!! now how cool would that be we would be the only us class to have that!! its just a thought though it would depend on how the class and ms stone felt about it!? maybe im just rambling here but who knows anyways guys
