So this morning i was really hyper after leaving seminar. I actually enjoy this class haha. I'm pretty sure it's becuase kelly is THE best teacher/mentor ever. Anyways, having Brett come speak to us today was nice i thought. I appreciated what he had to say and how he tried to make us feel comfortable and get to know us and our problems more personally. I really like how people are going out of their way to make incoming freshman feel accepted and at home here at Tx State. I definitely will use the site that kelly puts on tracs to see what else there is to become more involved in. I really think being involved gives us more of a purpose rather than simply going through the motions of everyday school ( which is hard enough).

Someone down there mentioned the glass bottom boat tour.. ummm i'm extremely excited about that too!! I've heard about it and my dad went on it when he was a kid 30million years ago haha. so i'm looking forward to this class event.

Oh! the reading assignment... well some of it was pretty much just things you've heard before(at least i have) but i really liked some of the stories and the last poem from the dad. maybe it was just late and i was tired but i got kind of emotional for a second. just a second. then i went to sleep :) anyways... i love this class and i look forward to it every week. thanks kelly and classmates. and brett.
