Who ever said "highschool is the best years of your life," was undeniably wrong! I enjoy college. I have joined many organizations, I have been voted into an executive position at my dorm, and I am taking very interesting classes for the most part. I play hard, but I also work hard. I had a psychology test tuesday, and i am looking foward to three tests and a paper next week. I would not change anything about my experience so far. College is a challenge, but that is the entire reason I am here. I know that the education put in to becoming a Psychologist is not all fun and games.
I am really excited for the glass-bottom boat tour that is happening in a couple weeks. My grandparents took me and my sister to one of those tours about ten years ago, and that is when I first saw the Texas State Campus. I was drawn to the school. I knew that I wanted Texas State to be an option for me when the time came for looking at colleges. Also, my Mother graduated from what was then South West Texas State in the eighties. All of my Mother's stories where an influencial aspect when it came time for me to start looking at colleges.
