It has been almost a week since my last blog entry. I can already say, that I look foward to seeing my grammar improve each time I post a blog. In my last blog I stated how nervous I was. I was homesick, timid, but confident above all else that I was here in college to become a successful and hopefully very good psychologist. Now, a week after I have moved into my dorm, I can consider Texas State University as my home. I love it here. I have already made wonderful friendships that will hopefully last a lifetime, and I am excited about most, if not all of my classes.
I have a slight learning disability in math, but with the help of SLAC, SIs, and the Residential program, I am guaranteed to excel. My history class is a little intimidating, because three out of four tests are in essay form. On the bright side, I love history! The past is actually interesting. History, is the very meaning of "do not forget, because the past can be repeated" (I do not know who was quoted, but this saying generally associates with disasters such as the Holocaust).
My psychology class, is going to be amazing! The teacher is fun, and there is so much to take in with psychology. US1100 looks like it has so much to offer. I have not attended english yet, but I hope I will enjoy that class as well.
