The Calm Before the Storm

Already I have homework! :( Thankfully its just odds and ends. The hard part is Math 1315 and Spanish 1410.

I finished reading the US1100 homework and I thought that the Three Little Pigs story while odd made a good point. People are constantly trying to protect themselves from threats that are real and make believe. It is when we allow the government to protect us 100% of the time is when things get messy. The government's job is to safeguard its people, just not at the expense of freedom and personal liberty. A good example of this is in Lucas film's movie series Star War. The first three movies were about how one man managed to gain control of almost the entire galaxy. The last three movies were about the Rebel Alliance who were "the people" trying to regain control of the galaxy for the sake of all life. A strong government is what we need, it is just when it gets too strong that we need to start worrying and immediate action is needed.
