FREE HUGZ

Although it seemed like my Thursday was getting off to a really rough start (slept through my first class and was then woken up by a fire alarm in Beretta) FREE HUGS day made everything all better!  I was a little nervous to give out free hugs at first, probably due to some deep seated fear of rejection, but once I gave out my first one and realized that they were still smiling after the hugging was over, it made my day!  All of the different reactions to our Free Hug Day were so interesting.  There was that one that ran up to all of us and gave us hugs before we could even offer.  On the other hand, there were people who walked completely out of their way to avoid the entire quad.  I think the people who rejected our love hugs are silly!  WHY would you pass up a chance to make your day better? Embrace to love people!

Anyway, I thought Free Hugs day was a blast and that we would have made Juan Mann proud!
