Introduction

Like many new freshman that are now entering Texas State University, I am nervous and homesick. I ask my self, "why am I feeling this way? I want to be here. It is better than working at a fast food joint for the rest of my life." I wanted to make friends for life, the minute I walked into my dorm. Although things did not go as fast as I wished them to, I realize now that there is nothing to worry about. I have made new acquaintances, have enjoyed many of the professors that spoke to the US1100 class, and realized I could find out who I am now as well as who I will become. Right now I am a psychology student, who came to Texas State University to better myself in my desired profession. I can not wait until classes start.
