are we done yet?

ughhh so the semester is almost done!! i cannot wait to be officially on the road back to houston for a month!! :) how effin exciting!! im def gonna miss the people i made friends with in this class and unfortunatly i dont have a phone due to the fact that i lost it!! so if i had your number send it to me on facebook!! id like to keep in touch with everyone!! i hope everything is better with ms stone and her children!! happy holidays guys

Almost Done!!!!

So even though i have been completely stressed out lately, it really hasn't bothered me that much because the semseter is almost over! This week alone has seemed like finals becuase i have had so much stuff due, so im hoping that it has prepared me for some major studying/cramming time next week. I can't wait to get out though and go home to see all of my friends. I have a lot of fun stuff planned this break one of which is going camping with all of my friends, which is one of the funnest things to do!!!! Pretty much all and all this semester has been really good, but i can not wait until its overrrr :)

Wow this semester is almost over. It's crazy. I feel like it was just yesterday that I was in high school and now I'm about to be done with my first semester of college. I feel like I've grown up alot since I've been here. I mean I still act immature and stupid sometimes but I've grown up. I've learned to rely on myself and to be strong even when I don't want to be. It's like that saying " Sometimes the things that you want to do aren't what's ultimately best for you." I'm glad I'm going to Texas State and eventhough I've had a hard time handling the change, it's overwhelming sometimes, there is still no other school that I would rather be at.

Preparing for finals

I wasn't sure if we had to post so I'm posting just to be safe.

I have to say the last two weeks have been hectic, I will be glad when classes stop on December 8, but I will then have to focus even more of my time to studying for my exams. I am nearly done with my autobiography and will be turning it in shortly. All in all I can't wait for the weekend.

I had a fun time in the class, my favorite part was the Free Hugs Day, while the second was presenting my Civic Responsibility project, although preparing for the presentation was a pain. Hope you have a wonderful Christmas break Mrs. Stone!

Good Bye

I am going to miss all of the fun times I had in this class. With Kelly, it wasn't just a class, but an experience. We did a lot of fun things! Thanks for a wonderful semester!

back from the break

hey i hope everyone had an awesome thanksgiving, cause i know i did. all i have to say is that we all made it, its the end of the semester and were in the home stretch, with only two weeks to go. every one pass their classes and get ready for a month of and christmas!!!

Thanksgiving

I have to say I loved having a five day holiday! I really enjoyed being with my family. We played cards helped cook dinner (I made the rolls). The only down side was all the dishes. It is one of the things I won't miss when I am at college.

I can't think of anything else to say but happy Thanksgiving.

I didn't know if we were supposed to blog this week, but here mine is....

I'm home for Thanksgiving .... and I wish the break was longer ..... I can't wait for Christmas - a month break!! I went to my cousin's house for dinner .... they live on a ranch and their house is beautiful .... it was really fun .... we found out my cousin's wife is pregnant so that was exciting!!

I don't want to go back to school on Monday, but we only have 2 more class days ..... YEAH! ..... i have a paper due on tuesday and i haven't started yet ... uh oh! ... i'll probably start it on sunday ..... anyways ..... i'm really ready for christmas break!!

Almost THanksgiving

I miss the seminar class already but i am excited about Thanksgiving. I have been eating real food ever since i have been here and it is GREAT. This is going to be a great break.

cautionary blogging

i wasn't sure if we were supposed to blog for last class or not, so here's my 'just in case' blog. well my group didn't get to present, and we were the only ones not to, so i hope we get to go sometime......we kind of need to.....but i did enjoy seeing how everyone else presented the idea of civic responsibility in a new way. the facebook profile was especially cool. i'm a little sad our class is over already, i've really enjoyed all of the cool things that we've done, and getting to know the people. and of course it helped that we've definitely had the coolest teacher. especially in comparison with what i've heard about my friends US1100teachers. on that note I hope mayne's feeling better, its always scary when kids that young are that sick.

I didnt know if we were done blogging yet or not so I decided to be safe. I was super sad that Mrs. Stones baby was sick and that she couldnt be in class on our last day :(. I hope he feels better soon!!! But i am super excited to come and have the one on one talk. I finished my autobiography, and i cant believe this class is over.
